Since the nation\u2019s first Community Health Centers opened in 1965, expansion of the federally supported health center system to over 1,400 organizations has created an affordable health care option for 31.5 million people. Health centers in every state, U.S. territory, and the District of Columbia, provide care to all patients, regardless of ability to pay.<\/span><\/p>

Caring Health Center, which has served Greater Springfield since 1995, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). It provides substantial benefits to the community and its overall wellbeing.<\/span><\/p>

Caring Health Center is firmly committed to eliminating health disparities and achieving health equity by providing accessible, value-driven healthcare for diverse, multi-ethnic communities in Western Massachusetts<\/span>. Caring Health Center utilizes 47 translation and interpreting services to ensure quality, evidence-based healthcare to more than 21,000 patients at several locations in Greater Springfield. Our insurance Navigators provided over 4,000 individual assists to keep residents enrolled in health coverage. <\/span><\/p>

In addition, Caring Health Center provides free patient transportation and our pharmacy makes free deliveries of prescriptions to patients\u2019 homes.<\/span><\/p>

Our clinical and virtual services include adult and pediatric medical care, dental and behavioral health services. Also, Caring Health Center provided health assessments for more than 1,000 recently arrived refugees in Western Massachusetts.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
